Steve Thompson

At the age of 9 years old S teve Thompson took up motor sport racing. He raced a formula called cadet, the promoters were the RAC. S teve raced for the England team in Cadets for the Five Nations, Northern Ireland , S othern Ireland , S cotland , England and Wales . This event was held in Cork , Ireland .

He went on to achieve British Champion, and at the age of 13 came out of Kart racing and went into BRISCA Ministox where he gained National Points Champion along with many other titles.

At the age of sixteen he joined the 2ltr Hotrods promoted by ORC where he gained the title of English Champion. In 2004 he joined the National Hot Rods once again promoted by the ORC in his first year he gained Rookie of the year and one year on finished second in the world final, and second in the National Championships. In 2002 Steve raced on the British Team in South Africa.

In three years of the National Hot Rods Steve has had 2 nd 3 rd and 4 th in the World Final and three 2 nd places and a 4 th place in the National Championships.

At the moment he is leading the points chart in the World Qualifiers.
