Thompson's were established in 1983, as Thompson Metals in the good old Pit Bottom area of Winterton Road, Scunthorpe. In 1993 we expanded our operations with the purchase of a five acre site on Winterton Road, to include skip hire and waste disposal.

In the year 2000 once again we expanded our operations by opening a new site in Gainsborough to include the services of Skip Hire, Waste Transfer, Waste Management and Scrap Metal...

In 2007 we built a state of the art waste transfer station, complemented by a bespoke waste recycling facility and expanded our areas to offer skip hire to most of Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and East Ridings of Yorkshire.
