Skip Hire Guide

Q. How long can I keep the skip?
A. Usually 10-14 days but longer if it is pre arranged

Q. Can the skip be sited on the public highway?
A. Yes with pr authorisation from the local council, this has to be requested in advance normally three working days, there may be a charge for a permit.

Q. Are lights and cones provided in the price of the skip?
A. Yes, but if they are stolen there may be a surcharge for replacement.

Q. What materials are allowed to be put into the skip?
A. General Non Hazardous Waste
Soils, Concrete, Brick Rubble
General Household
Scrap Metal

Q. What materials cannot go into the skip?
A. Oils, Liquids
Fridges, Freezers
Batteries
Tyres
Gas Cylinders, Sealed Containers
Fluorescent tubes

Paint
